Three babies were born on July 30th. Margaretta Hug, Sherman Gibbs, and Emily Maurer. Most people fled to Cedar Grove Cemetery to get away from the flames and smoke which is where Dr. Boyle was found. He delivered Sherman Gibbs there. Margaretta never saw her father because he had enlisted in the 21st Pa. Cavalry, but died from a horse kicking him prior to her birth.
