Lavinia Culbertson, whose home was at King and Main Streets, came back to recover this silver which had been buried in the basement right before the burning. It traveled across the country for 100 years and ended in California . Her granddaughter donated it to the Historical Society. Lavinia , in the photo on the left has her granddaughter on her lap.
